5 months ago I met Shifu; through Shifu’s guidance, doing the SOP, DG, GYFM and chanting, I have slowly awakened to the realisation of my own contribution to my karma and that my thoughts, words and actions mould me to what I had been, have and possibly going to be!

As I have to stop attending classes due to my heavy and overwhelming workload, I bear in my heart and mind the precious lessons by Shifu.

And, till we meet again -

secular mode taking over …

I dont understand why !?   Why am I so busy … so busy … with my work !

Why others can knock off work on the dot – but me ?  Why others can sit down and have a lovely dinner with their family – but me?  Why others can but not me?

It’s not now only … from the day I started work … its been like this

Why?

My Karma, is it?

I AM TIRED

To do … or not to do …  the question we asked ourselves every other day …

3 years ago, I searched fervently for a teacher to guide me.   I laid my wish on my altar and request Mother Tara’s help.   I was prepared, willing to do anything to ‘break through’ the mess, to see light …  but, the time was not right and no teacher appear.  (many mini gurus … but no actual teacher).

Now, I have a great, committed teacher who is so willing to share his knowledge, to guide me in my cultivation … but, my spirit and flesh have weakened so much so much …   the amount of dust, grim, soil covering me …

I just have to ask myself again … To do, or not to do

today we have 2 new visitors to our class – christopher and beatrice – 2 people from different backgrounds and cultures … yet drawn to our class … Affinity …

Vicki led the class in SOP and I felt she did a good job – very steady. Next, we did a one-to-one GYFM – Shifu training us to listen with our heart and ears. Then, we did healing for each other. This time, we used crystals.

Today, Shifu bestowed a gift to me (and my other class-mates too) – it’s a yellow citrine quartz crystal. Shifu taught us to link with our new ‘friend’ who will accompany us on our cultivation and healing journey. My new ‘friend’ told me his name when I introduced myself. The seed of friendship thus sowed.

Shifu gave me my 2nd homework – 100,000 manis – to be completed by 21 July 09. My first homework was to listen to 2 CDs and to read the 25th Chapter Lotus Sutra on Guan Si Yin Pu Sa.

Some obstacles in doing SOP: (1) tiredness aka laziness (2) memorising text in chinese. I am going to shop for a good seat cushion and my 7 bowls.
